I think the timing is good, since most of the MNC's anyway will not have impact that much if all this trash can be cleared and brought under control within this week. Already 10 companies of para-military troops have landed in Begumpet airport, 2000 more troops are expected by tomorrow.
Lets all hope that everything will be brought under control...and atleast Hyd can be brought under control....and fron Jan 2010 when offices open....it will be business as usual. |

Subject: Shifts today - urgent
Infotech buses are not plying for the II shift today.
II shift person who do not work today can work on another day.
I shift people may go around 5 PM – situation may be better then. Buses will be there.
If a II shift person comes on his own as he did not find the bus , drop can be arranged.
Please co-ordinate with HR/Admin.

subject:Closure of Second Shift
This mail is intended for the Associates in Hyderabad Offices
Dear All,
It is reported that the situation in the city is not good. In the interest of the welfare and safety of our Associates, we have made the following decisions:
Associates working in the first shift will be requested to work till 6 PM today. The Administration is arranging to run the busses to take them back home by 6 PM today.
There would be no second shift operations today. The managers are requested to communicate this to the associates - wherever possible. We shall compensate towards the loss of second shift work some other day - before 31st December 2009.
Receptionists are instructed to inform about the cancellation of the second shift � in case any associate dials in.
Since it is a companywide holiday on account of Christmas, we are closed tomorrow.
