You realize you basically have to pay for 2 months service. ATT will not prorate the second month.
That's why they force you to cancel after 30 days. You can cel before 30 days you must return phone or be charged full retail price $599/699.
You wait until day 31, you en up paying for the full second month but you get to keep your phone. But you end up paying an extra $40-50 for second month since ATT will not prorate your last months bill.
So ATT will get their money from you. You end up basically paying almost the full retail money for the iPhone with your $36 activation fee your $175 ETF and your 2 months of ATT service.

Unfortunately, some of our overseas Apple-loving cousins don't have the unlocked iPhone yet. To help them out, I am offering to ship unlocked and outright iPhone 3GSs to you anywhere in the world. Why get it via me instead of somewhere else?
This is the pricing schedule:
32GB iPhone 3GS White/Black: AU$1040 or 16GB iPhone 3GS White/Black: $879
Insured, trackable and 3-day delivery via Australia Post Express Courier International: AU$59 (price varies depending where you are, but to most places in the world, it's $59)
PayPal fees (this fee is not required if you pay via direct deposit if you have an Australian bank account): 2.4% of the total amount sent (so $27 for a 32GB or $23 for the 16GB)
The total cost for a single 32GB iPhone 3GS is AU$1126. Let's round it up to $1130 to make it a nice even number. If you want more than 1 iPhone, postage remains the same too.
NOTE: Warranty on the iPhone is not valid unless it is repaired in the country of purchase. E.G: iPhone purchased in Australia cannot be repaired in the USA.
