For the associates in Hyderabad
Dear All,
Central Power Distribution Company of A.P. Limited has informed that due to severe power crisis, they are constrained to immediately take load relief measures. In view of this they will not supply power for continuous 48 hours from tomorrow, Thursday 12th to Friday 13th March, 2009. We also understand that from next week onwards, there will be a load relief for 6 to 8 hours every day.
To mitigate the power shortage we are hiring generators and pressing into service for continuous power supply to ensure that work does not suffer. FYI, the cost of running the generators are high as compared to the grid power from the Board. As the generators cannot support the air conditioners, during the load relief period AHU’s will be operational and only one elevator will be kept open, mainly to help associates who are physically challenged, pregnant ladies and those with medical problems.
All other associates are requested to please understand and cooperate by using the staircase for movement.
As we need to depend completely on the backup generators, we solicit your cooperation by switching off the lights and your computer while leaving the work station.
The inconvenience caused due to power restrictions and control is highly regretted.
