Praja Rajyam Party is set to face the split within no time, if rumours are to be believed.

The rumours have emanated from the reports that a PRP legislator Katasani Ram Reddy from Banaganapalle in Kurnool district was spotted at the camp office of Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy on Tuesday night. Ram Reddy made a desperate attempt to meet YSR and he was asked to come after a couple of days.

Sources say some of the MLAs of the PRP were the “coverts” of the Congress planted in the TDP strongholds and they were asked to jump the fence after the polls. Now that the Congress has come to power, these MLAs might take a plunge at any time, sources say.
