last and best option unless your harddisk hosedup, go and buy urself a laptop hdd enclosure, then hook it up to a different server and transfer your data, unless your hdd is fq;dup you can always recover the data using this method..good luck pillsio

Ask him to make a Knopix boot disk and boot it with the CD drive .. Then connect an USB hard disk and back it up into it ..
