The suspect box found in the Howrah-Bhadrak passenger train is being scrutinised by bomb disposal experts to ascertain the true nature of the explosives, if any. According to TV reports the train was standing at platform no 21 and the explosives were found during a routine check up.
An intense search operation is on at the Howrah terminus � one of the busiest in the country. The police have cordoned off the entire area. Security officials maintained that there is no need to worry and the situation is under control.
It may be noted that a few days back a Home Ministry report warned of a bomb in a Goa bound train which was to depart from Kerala. However, no bomb was recovered from the train.
