Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who otherwise maintains cool in the Assembly, has shown signs of desperation with the Opposition parties coming together and attacking his government.
He lost his temper, while reacting to the pungent comments made by Opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu for goofing up in the Kolleru lands issue. He suddenly shouted at Naidu saying: "Are you a human being? How can you blame our government, when the entire problem had arisen during the TD regime, leading to Supreme Court directions? You have backstabbed your own father in law and then, the people of the State. You have no right to talk about us," he shouted.
YSR was already in an agitated mood, with Opposition Leader pointing out to the letter written by Comptroller and Auditor General of India, pointing out the government's irregularities in various projects. And on Kolleru issue, YSR was completely cornered. Hence, he had to give vent to his ire at Naidu! |
