Racchamas: if next year your IRS refund is 500, then U will get 500 .
if ur next year refund is zero, "600 was a jackpot to u, u wont have to repay back, they wont ask"
but if your refund is 2000, then u will get 1400. |

my wife came in november 2007, so year motham SINGLE status lo TAX cut ayyindhi.
since wife landed in usa, JOINT return file chesa,
then refund came more. |

I can file single return,get 600 , then amend the return to joint later. so appudu 600 vacchi nattu untundi plus joint status kooda apply authundi.
but i did not take this advantage: as IRS updated this last week, and by the time we all had done JOINT and got the tax amount back based on joint status. |
