did u see Sarkar? I did get to see the movie over this weekend. Chota bacchan rocked. I could really see shades of Al pacino in chota bacchan(No kidding).
There wasnt a single character which appeared to be redundant in the movie. Kota was amazingly comfortable as comic villain, it looked as if he was doing another telugu movie.
My fav scene in the movie
Chota bacchan goes to his father and tells him that he killed his brother. Full points to abhishek , i think he dominated his father in this particular scene.
My fav dialogue
AB to main villain :- "aur sun tujhe karne bhi nahi doonga".
Bravo RGV for giving us this movie even if it is a direct remake of "the god father" it was a treat to watch. |

Done with this movie, was pending for a long time now and touted as a precursor to Company, I was very eager to get on with it. As a movie that probably tries to mirror Malik's rise in the bombay underworld, this movie does not do enough justice to the superb character we see in company. The fact that Deshu does not belive in luck and that he is extremely practical and business like in his dealings is the only point brought forth by the whole movie and given the short duration of the film, I think it was brought out well. Randeep Hooda was very convincing and I think is a welcome addition to BOllywood. he is pan faced through out the movie as required but there's one scene where he shows controlled anger ( just like ajay devgan in company when vivek oberoi calls him from the airport and swears revenge ) - when chunkey pandey is killed. i thought he was SUPERB there. there's another scene where he sits reclined in his chair just like Devgan sits in company.
There's one major contribution from the director to bollywood technique of film making. there are many scenes where the dialogue is cut and music takes over. now, others have tried this but what this director visram sawant has done is that he maintains the tempo of the scene with the music. so when a romantic dialogue is cut, there's soothjing music while when a business dialogue is cut, we have similar music. NICE idea. Good movie. |
