Did Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy get a hint from the high command about the inevitability of forming Telangana State, if not now, but sometime later? Sources say, there are indications to this effect and the Chief Minister was reportedly asked to prepare the ground for development of Visakhapatnam as the new capital of Andhra. That is the reason, in the last couple of months, YSR has been talking about developing Visakhapatnam in every aspect – development of Special Economic Zone for industrial promotion, setting up of Volkswagen car manufacturing unit, creation of Pharma city, development of satellite towns in and around Visakhapatnam and the latest development is development of a second Airport for the coastal city. He openly called industrialists from all over the world to come to Visakhapatnam as it is going to be an industrial destination!
