TI mama where did you give this POA. In India or in US?

Viswamitra mama I will check with my local notory. Normally they do that for free.. My doubt is that whether they will do that on Indian Stamp paper. Let me check that out and get back to you later..

Or for safe side, I will copy the same what is in affidavit on plain paper and sign it and send. may be both..

I don't know mama. But still you can check with them.

See... here, they do notarise on any form. So they may not object that.

If you nearer to any SBI Branch in US, try there. They may not object that.

Prepare an affidavit for POA , get it notarised here.
Here in US ...for Notary, your Banker can do that, and most of the cases its free.

I need some help/info guys. Let me know if anybody done this..

What I came to know is that if you are here and want to sell a joint property in India( that is all brothers/sisters have right ) you need to give a Power of attorney on somebody's name. This affidavit has to be noterised.. What is the simplest process... Will notery sign the affidavit in Indian stamp paper. How much does the lawyer/notery charge for this...

MODS: DOnt delete till tomorow...
