Drifter, I agree the climax fight in Athidi is way way better than wrestling fight climax in Gajani and one crazy fight in the middle of the movie in one recent blockbuster that followed after the best dance number in that movie. But that could be just for me! |

This is the most perfect review for the movie for anyone who enjoyed it.
Most of our reviewers always criticize our movies saying they are "Paatha Chinthakaya Pachadi". And when something Trendy like Athidi comes, they can't digest it and while about not enough comedy, etc, etc.
Are we forced to have a comedy track in all our movies? I personally think movies like Gharshana, Athidi, etc will lose there tempo if you put in comedy track. Instead these kind of movies should be reduced to 2 1/2 hour movies to avoid the 'STRETCHED' feeling to viewers as it will be incredible hard to prolong the tempo for long period. |

The film as expectedly is very stylish in presentation. Without doubt, Athidhi is technically far superior movie than any of the recent films. Spellbinding visuals, trendy editing pattern, amazing action sequences and handsome hero on screen performing are film's major highlights. Heavily inspired by Hollywood movies - Man On Fire and Usual Suspects, the movie is mixed bag. Those who like films that have good technical values and action dramas will love it. For others it might look heavy.

This is the fact, vere vallaki nacchindhaa ledhaaa anedhi naaku avasaram ledhu.
I loved this movie. I enjoyed the whole movie totally. In the recent times after Happy Days, this is the movie i liked totally not even a single minute where i felt the movie was boring.
Each shot and frame excellent. Director ante veedilaaa undaaaali.
In this movie the villan was so cruel and thats why the climax is high voltage and thats what the script demanded.
This is totally director's movie and mahesh did extremely well. Once again hatsoff Surender.

First things first.
I am not an expert to tell the BO fate. DM chettha cinema anukunte Industry Hit ayyindhi. So actual run no one can guess.
Mana paaatha chinthakaaya pacchadhi telugu cinemaalu choodatam alavaatu ayinavallaki definite gaa movie nacchaddhu.
This movie is definitely for Multiplex audience.
I will give an example, In english there is a movie named Fight Club, for some ppl this is master piece but for some its a crap. There are a lot of movies in english like snatch, Reservoir DOgs, Kill Bill and most of the QT movies.
FOR ME THIS MOVIE IS LIKE THE ABOVE MENTIONED.
Coming to the artists
Mahesh --- Simply Amazing. Terrific Performance.
Villan --- GOOD.
Aashish Vidyarthi --- Excellent.
The above three characters are heart of the movie.
Surender -- Next Generation Director. Amazing skills.I thought Athanokkade was fluke, but after seeing Ashok

Now movie...
First 40 minutes typical telugu movie, then comes the real thing. From then till the end surender carried the whole movie on high tempo.
The whole movie keeps you guessing and is interesting till the climax, and then comes surender's real talent. I dont care what the reviews say or ppl say. He is simply super.
The way he handled the emotions and the killings with knife reminded me of the sword fight in kill bill. He took utmost care in each frame and each shot. Mahesh did extremely well.

Final conclusion, surender has improved a lot in making a commercial movie, I can bet the next movie whatever it is gonna be a blockbuster.Hatsoff Surender! Thanks for providing 3hrs of visual treat.
