Our 6-month old daughter Aarohi Agarwal has been diagnosed with a rare type of Blood Cancer -Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (JMML) and needs a marrow transplant to be treated.

Aarohi is going through chemotherapy treatment right now and a marrow transplant is the only hope for her survival.

Her best chance of finding a suitable matched donor is from the South Asian community. Since South Asians are a minority race in USA and in the national marrow registry, we need to register more potential donors to provide every patient with an equal chance of finding a match.

We APPEAL to each one of you between the ages of 18-60 and in good general health to register for the upcoming bone marrow drive on Saturday, 30th June at the

Donor Drive Venue :-

You could save Aarohi's life and many more patients who are not able to find a donor marrow match . We urge you please pray for Aarohi and register for bone marrow donation to see if you can save her life. Bone marrow donation has no major side effects. The test for marrow match is very simple - an oral cheek swab! And it is absolutely FREE for minority races. The entire process of registration and oral swab will not take more than 10 minutes. If you match based on this test, you will then have the opportunity to donate marrow.

You can also refer to National Marrow donor program website http://www.marrow.org or www.samarinfo.org, these websites have very good information on the donors program, how the test is conducted and all other questions one may have about marrow donation.

Please spread the word among your friends and relatives, help us to promote and create awareness to become a potential Donor.

Please consider saving a child's life. There is no bigger gift you can give to anyone.

We look forward to see you with your friends and relatives on 30th June

Mandvi and Hemanth
