Kilari Anand Paul, originally named Anand Kilari,[1] was born on September 25, 1963, in a small village called Chittivalsa in the province of Andhra Pradesh, India, into a Hindu family. His parents were Barnabas and Santhosamma. His parents were strong believers of Hinduism until they became Christians in the year 1966. Paul became a Christian in March 1971, when he was eight years old. Paul used to travel with his evangelist father to hundreds of villages in India sharing the gospel to many non-Christians. They faced severe persecution and opposition even as his father preached the gospel. At the age of 19 Paul felt a calling and entered into the full-time ministry. He left behind his education and a successful part-time business to become a Christian preacher.[2]

Dear Mr. Reddy,
I am writing this letter today out of a grave concern that some wrong course of action may be under consideration. Frankly, after much prayer, I�m concerned for my very life.
You will recall that we had a detailed one-hour face-to-face conversation on Feb 1, 2007 in the presence of my brother and U.S. former presidential candidate Dr. Walter Fauntroy at your home, arranged by Finance Minister Rosaiah and Mr. Sudhakar Reddy. Both in our meeting and in numerous follow up calls prior to and after your meeting with Sonia Gandhi we discussed in great detail how the Congress Party leader, Madame Sonia Gandhi, in July 2005, at the request of the U.S. Administration through its Ambassador and others, insisted that our Peace Mission to Iran, Syria, Libya and Venezuela be cancelled. As you are aware, this mission was to be hosted by former Prime Minister Deve Gowda and twenty-five members of Parliament from all major political parties.
At the instruction of Madame Sonia Gandhi, the Prime Minister�s office contacted then Foreign Minister Natwar Singh to call each of these countries as well as Deve Gowda and cancel the peace mission. On Feb 2, 2007, Mr. Natwar Singh reluctantly confirmed to us in the presence of others that he did not act on his own, rather he acted on the instructions of his leader. Former Prime Minister Deve Gowda also confirmed by phone that he had been asked not to participate in the peace mission by Mr. Singh on July 3rd of 2005. We�ve been careful to document these facts and many of these conversations. Even then, twelve Members of Parliament traveled with me on Global Peace Initiative�s Boeing 747 to the U.S. along with some of our orphan children, to a State Dinner hosted by Evander Holyfield and then Governor Mike Huckabee, now one of the U.S. Presidential candidates.
On July 3rd 2005, Prime Minister Gowda confirmed to us that he had received several calls from Mr. Natwar Singh, and later confirmed these calls to Oscar Fernandez. Myself and many of my team members worked diligently to meet with Madame Sonia Gandhi for thirty days. When she refused to meet with us for even just a short meeting, we felt compelled to demonstrate outside her home on August 3, 2005 at 10 Janapath with hundreds of widows and orphans. Then without choice, as she was undoubtedly concerned about the bad publicity, she sent her advisor, Mr. Oscar Fernandez and Madame Dalmia to arrange my meeting with Madame Sonia Gandhi. In the presence of one of my international coordinators and Oscar Fernandez, for 18 minutes, I confronted her with a broken heart and asked her why she and her leadership would cancel our peace mission at the request of the Bush/ Rice Administration. She acted as if she did not know anything, however I challenged her with the proof we have�and I told her that Mahatma Gandhiji and thousands have died to bring freedom to our great nation from Western slavery, and after nearly 58 years, India sold our foreign policy to an unpopular U.S. Administration. The Bush/ Rice Administration used every means possible to destroy me and my mission, which was subsequent to my success in stopping so many conflicts including Liberia and Haiti, primarily because of my opposition to the U.S. Iraq war. What amazed me more than anything was how the Congress Party leaders, and especially Sonia Gandhi, would take such a bold step to sell out our country, which we all dearly love.
I have traveled 108 countries, have counseled more than 63 Presidents and Prime Ministers, have been privileged to speak to more people than any other humanitarian or evangelist, helping unite the world with peoples of all faiths, at times millions of people gathered in a single peace rally, I�ve been endorsed by 24 U.S. Governors�all the while promoting the message of Jesus, the Prince of Peace, and the values of Mahatma Gandhiji. I�ve refused to become a U.S. Citizen and have remained an Indian who is proud of my heritage. I�ve tirelessly promoted India throughout the world while rescuing 100�s of thousands of widows and orphans.
I�ve spent hundreds of hours over the past two years with both meetings and phone calls with virtually all the Congress Party leaders, including Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Singh, Mr. Sushil Kumar Sindhe, Mrs. Ambika Soni, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad, Mr. Ahmed Patel, Mr. Salman Khurshid, Mr. Santosh Kumar Bagarodia and several others some of them who traveled with me. In my life of global humanitarian work for 25 years, I�ve refused to spend any time with politicians, and have rather chosen to spend my time only with widows, orphans and the poorest of the poor. I�ve refused dinners with political leaders in many countries unless there was a need related to my work with the poor or for the sake of peace. For example, in India Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu and Former Speaker Balayogi both have attended our summits, peace rallies and have visited our Charity City. While they were in power for 10 years, I�ve never visited their home or their office even one time. Yet, recently in the past two years, I visited these Congress political leaders in their homes and waited in their offices, I�ve made numerous phone calls and begged them, including you, to avoid me having to expose the facts and the truth�how Sonia Gandhi by canceling the peace mission brought a great curse to our nation and to the Congress Party.
After much prayer, I told you that the Congress Party would continue to lose power if you did not as a responsible Chief Minister properly inform Madame Sonia Gandhi of my good support and following in our state which is key to your Party. But then you informed me in February 2007 after your meeting with Sonia Gandhi that she does not want to meet with me or deal with me. Since then you have lost three key Indian States. Millions have committed to pray for me and for the cause of peace. Your political agenda has worked against peace and against orphans. You both have caused incalculable damage to me personally, and more importantly, to my work with widows and orphans globally. Further, you�ve damaged your party as well as India�s prospects to contribute to world peace through our otherwise successful initiatives. You are intoxicated with your power and you think you can forget about God and do whatever you want. I have humbly and repeatedly warned you, nonetheless, you even asked me during our four hour meeting at my Charity City on December 9th 2003, to help your political campaign by giving you $5 million dollars. I told you that nowhere in the world has any politician ever asked me for money, but I was prepared to help you through my friends in the U.S. without giving you money out of my humanitarian funds, which would affected my widows and orphans, something I have never considered. Is the fact that you did not receive the $5 million the reason why you are personally upset with me? Why would you not answer so many of my calls after March 16th after you received a warning call from the Present Foreign Minister Mukharjee?. Why would you completely avoid talking to me? Why would you cancel your brother�s visit to Venezuela? Therefore, I�ve prayed for you for the past two months, after you backed off your support for the Gandhi King Paul Peace Center I feel in my spirit that you have been inspired by evil spirits to silence me at any cost from exposing the truth. As I repeatedly told you, I�ve documented numerous hours of video, which if anything happens to my life, will be revealed to the Indian national leaders, such as Mr. Nidu, Mr. Amar Singh, and Mr. Advani, with whom I spent several hours because of my grave concerns. Of course, this would be publicized throughout the State and India where tens of millions of my followers who know of my unselfish living without owning any personal properties in the world and helping millions of widows and orphans.
Please understand how important it is for you to have a change of heart and this remains my prayer. I do not fear death�if I did, I would not have gone into the most troubled spots of the world and many war zones.
