What is this bit of news that Karisma Kotak is out Of Shankardada Zindabad? If it’s true we are truly happy, atleast I certainly am, can’t bear to see Chiru with her.

I forgot to mention about what happened last night. Sira was screened by Bharani for the members of the Writers’ Association. Paruchuri Gopala Krishna said he didn’t understand the film for the first time but when he watched it the thrid time he understood it. Ditto with me. Every time I watched it, I understood something new. Well R. Narayana Murthy didn’t like it. When his chance came to speak he said, “Ikkada ee movie ardham aina vallu evaranna unte cheyyi ettandi (none lifted their hands), naaku asalu nacchala. ardham kakunda teesthe adi goppa cinema anipinchukodu, sorry brother naa manasulo mata cheppanu.”

Bharani was amused because this comment wasn’t new, he had heard this number of times. He even said that this film is only for intellectuals. ‘Rickshaw nadipe vaariki Shakespeare, Ulysses etla ardham avuthundi ani, he told Cinema Prapancham. Narayana Murthy added, “Nenu Dandora laanti cinemalu teesanu. Dhaani prabhavam ento villages kelthe telusthundi. Ugravadam common man ki etla ardham avuthundi?”
