Site Teleedu:
First time Prince Mahesh preferred a rough kind of look and mouthed arrogant dialogues and with don’t care attitude. His hair style is changed, his facial expressions are street smart like, and his deportment is very casual with a touch of arrogance. But you can realize now and then actually his original self is not that. You can get a good glimpse when he reacted towards the villains when he heard what actually happened to police officer Shayaji Shinde’s daughter.
We all know he is a boon to the directors. His directors may go wrong to give him fruitful characters but he never failed to breathe life in to his given characters. ‘Pokiri’ may be Poori Jagan’s creative child but Mahesh has given full-fledged and in-depth detailed life like image to it. He made us feel Pandu character as tailor made for him. He looks at ease in dances and delivering dialogues and in fight sequences. Because of his Alexander kind of acting skills, the other characters are also look so believable.

Site teleedu:
Mahesh Babu In the first half he plays as Pokiri. He simply superb. In all action sequences he is excellent, in fact this section is like the heart of this film. Even in his dialogues he is good and very punching. Coming to his dancing moments, there is no need to say, he is very good. From the time the director reveals that he is not Pokiri but a police officer, you have not watched Mahesh Babu’s action ever before. He is brilliant and excellent.

Site teleedu:
Mahesh Babu did a terrific job in the movie. He enacted aptly for the character which is treated with reckless attitude. The one-liner punch dialogues in the movie which are delivered with a carefree attitude by him attract one and all. Dancing talents of his are also explicable showcased. Fights and chases as usual are tremendous by him.

Film Chamber:
Mahesh Babu after his silent and serious action in “Athadu” has once again steals the entire show. In short, he gives the best of his performance so far. He is the alpha and omega on the screen, smeared with action and action, sufficiently stuffed with romance and sentiment too. His mannerisms and hairstyle are additional feathers to his mass characterization.

Idlebrain:
Mahesh: In my opinion, this was the best ever performance by Mahesh Babu. His acting skills not only render commercial entertainment to the general crowds, but also delight the serious filmgoers. Puri Jagan should be commended for doing great characterization for Mahesh. Mahesh Babu’s one-liners uttered in Uttarandhra dialect are real fun. Mahesh Babu who is undoubtedly the best good looking hero of this generation is extremely fascinating with his new hairdo.

GA:
Mahesh Babu:Mahesh Babu’s performance is quite impressive. His characterization is tuned to the level of satisfaction of his fans. Dialogues written by Puri for Mahesh gelled well with his character and characterization. It appears new and funny to see Mahesh Babu in lungi for a while in a song.

Cinegoer:
Mahesh Babu's fans are in for a treat. But do the film makers consciously give him very few lines to say? Either ways, it works out for both-Mahesh and the audience. The top Telugu actors perform for their admirers, and it shows. The mannerisms he develops and the subdued energy he displays for this role is for 'Prince' fans, and they are bound to love it. He has an 'Athadu' hangover, and thankfully for him, his director doesn't have a 'Super' hangover, and brings out one of his better performances, although, Mahesh's potential has not fully been explored till date.

Totaltollywood:
Mahesh is at is usual best. He impresses the Pandu character to be himself. In fact, this is a new projection of Mahesh in a different style. Also the one liners penned by Puri are nicely delivered by Mahesh and they promptly elevated his character in the film. He has done the entire role with an authority.

Nonstop Cinema:
In the new generation of actors, Mahesh Babu is the best example for versatility in acting. With this new hairsdo and updated styling sense, Mahesh Babu matches Bollywood standards for looks and presentation. His Utthar Andhra accent, and one liners Mahesh adds a mass dimension to his character. This is one of the best hero characterizations in recent times, and something that was tailor made keep the fan’s expectations in mind.

Andhracafe:
Speaking of Mahesh, this is quite possibly his best role since Athadu. He looks rugged, energetic and has grown his hair long.Mahesh is one of the finest actors today and this time he is a perfect choice to play the role.
His chemistry with Prakash Raj is incredible.

Fullhyd:
Mahesh has the meatiest of dialogues, and with about 15 years in the industry now, he’s nearly par for the course. He has to mostly mouth pithy lines and look indifferent, and he delivers.

Indiaglitz:
Mahesh revels in an author-backed role. His insouciance and cultivated elegance add to the polish of the character. He is decidedly first rate in the role of a patented baddie. The director seems to have created his character with lot of care. Even his looks are very cool and comfy.

Telugu Cinema:
What’s hot! Mahesh Babu’s performance.
