Vizag saibu dont won't for TDP MP at all..they might vote for MLA candidate.
City TDP is weak because of Murthy..Congress always gets almost 1 lakh majority and TDP has to get more than that thru rural voting and win it..TDP won in vizag in 1994 not because TDP is strong or candidates are strong..Simply bullxxxt..

My gut feeling is MVVS Murthy will contest from Rajhamundry next time, and Ganta from Vizag. It will work out well if Ganta doesn't involve in Anakapalli MP area.<<<<<<
hope so. also it may not be easy for him, alamuru strong hold of tdp is being reconstitued in amalapuram(sc) const.

Gadde won as TDP candidate from Chipurupalli in 1994 and served as VIP/WHIP.
Naidu denied the ticket in 1999 and gave the ticket to some body else Gadde not supported to TDP and TPD lost there.
In 2004 again TDP gave the ticket to Gadde from COngress Botsa contested finally Botsa won

If I remember correctly, Padala Aruna contested for MP seat against Botsa Sattibabu and lost the election in 1999. She didn't contest as TDP candidate in Cheepurupalli. Both MP and MLA elections held together in 1999 |
