I am an ardent fan of Nandamuri Balakrishna since my 10th class. I am now 32 years old and my interest towards his films are part of my life. I have been waiting for Maharadhi since last November. Due to several reasons, movie got re-scheduled several times.
Finally on February 3rd, I have gone to North Bergen to watch the show at 6. 30 pm. The whole theatre was packed due to heavy crowds and theatre management has no option other than shifting the movie audience to a bigger theatre before the show. Tickets were sold out to the second show even before the first show started.
This movie is made with high technical values. Hats off to producer and director. The background score was one of the recent best. Camera work was too good and special techniques got the applause. NBK gave life and breathe to all the 3 different roles. He excelled in Bala, Krishna and Balakrishna. The sequences between Balakrishna and Jayaprada are very interesting and made the crowd berserk. NBK’s performance is best in his career. Not only he excelled in Kris’s character, he made audience whistle by seeing him Balakrishna’s character. His dance sequences are too good and worth watching repetitively. Though the movie got a thin story line, the movie was presented in a novel way. Screenplay is good.
This movie is worth watch for all Balayya fans and worth your ticket price if you want to watch a clean entertainer.
The filmmakers definitely succeeded making a different film with Balayya. I wish Balayya would act in different movies like this. While he got his charm back with MAHARADHI, he would get his glory back with his upcoming movies.
