nag mama i think its a misconception abt phil wanting to win right now. he was like that no doubt but this time he knew that it will take some rebuilding and that challenge might be one of the reasons he took this job. this pick is a high risk one. typical lakers way. if it pays off it will pay off big. i think they will pick up vlade's option. mihm could play the four and five. they are going to waive brian grant to save some luxury tax money. |

Nag maama i feel he will be better than Chris Mihm in his first or second year.
Also lakers will pick up Divac's option, if he is healthy he works well in Phil's system then this kid can get some 10min and can develop.
I still think they will trade someone for a PF or PG. |

here is what i don't understand nbk mama. Phil signed a three year contract and it's going to take this kid some time to develop. He wants to win right now and this kid probably won't contribute much for a couple of years. THat's why it's a curious pick. Let's see what happens. |

Lakers pick was interesting.
He is weighing more than 270 pounds at 17 i think bigger than Shaq when he was 17.
I saw his play once on ESPN.
He plays similar to shaq and is more active.
If he works hard lakers will be on top again in 2-3 years. |
