Oops, I think I gave a wrong impression on what I need!! Sorry for that. I have previously(1999) worked extensively in JDBC, Servlets and Swing components.
Recent 3 years gaa nana chetta work chesa like a lot of tools, memory leak detection in C++ and performance tuning etc.
Ippudu naaku kottaga telvalsinavi EJB, STRUTS etc.
So thanks for the links on EJB.

Once you have finished these things
Next level is the most intresting part of j2ee
EJb's you can go through the same j2ee tutorial for basic ejbs.
While going through that ejb tutorial go through this following book which is free for download
EJB2 by edroman.
You can find about download link at

This is one of the best site for j2ee concepts u can read the discussion there and will learn a lot from there.
Apart from this site u can visit jguru,http://www.java.net/
and more are there just visit
these sites u will find more links for new sites.
IF u want to buy a book on ejb buy orielley's book on EJB2.1 version.
And also once you are familiar with these things next level is you should get familiarised with
j2ee design patterns concept where oops knowledge is very important.
U can find info about various design patterns at

and various sites on internet if u google u will find many.

And to learn EJBS you can u jBOSS a free appserver
you download it at jboss site.
And there is also one very good tutorial on j2ee using jboss by one indian in australia.

If you are familiar with Standard java then no need to brush up. If not
There is a free book by bruceeckel Thinking In Java now it is in 3rd edtion so. You can down load it for free. This covers java concept very well.
I guess u have OOPS concepts if not then go through some basic OOPS concepts from online resources. Bruce Eckel has covered that too.
And next level is j2ee.
Go to suns site and u will find a free tutorial on J2ee and its all the topics for starting forget about ejb and webservices part if you are not familiar with Servlets and Jsps.
Go to the tutorial and practice basic servlet and JSP programming. For that u can use tomcat as the servlet container. And also look for lot of free books online which covers servlets and JSPs.
Once you are familiar with servlets and jsps go and read the specs of servlets and jsps

not just Indians, many do that.
anduke, FRYs, CircuitCity etc stores are charging a 15% restocking fee on electronic goods unless the product is defective.
Costco and Sams may follow soon.

uninstall popup blockers (if any) and all the other IE toolbars (if any), update IE and see if the sites open.
once the problem is resolved, install only google toolbar and nothing else.

Nenu continuos ga oke job lo more than 3 years undi, koddi ga technology advance ki duramaiyyanu.
So, I was just thinking of upgrading my self with latest in Java and related technologies. Thats the reason I bought a laptop recently.
I would greatly appreciate, if some one can help me with name of a very very informative J2EE book which extensively covers JDBC, EJB, ANT, STRUTS, SERVLETS, EJB, XML, JMS, JAVA MAIL etc. I want to buy it today. So if you can help me with this decision, it would be of great help.
