The Fourth Aryan Invasion occurred in 2 parts: First, the Digvijay Aryan invasions that led to the subjugation of all of India to the Aryan yoke. The revolt by the non-Aryans and mixed races led to the terrible Mahabharatan War between the Aryan Pandavas on one side and the mixed race Kauravas and black aboriginals on the other. The Aryan victory enabled them to invade & settle in the Ganges valley and confirmed Aryan dominance. The genocides of this war permanently changed the racial composition of India. These wars were some of the most terrible recorded.
* Fifth (Solar) Aryan Invasion (800 BC) :
The Fifth Aryan invasion is named Solar, since the Aryans who invaded India during this epoch were of the Solar race (Suryavamsi), while the earlier Aryans were of Lunar race (Chandravamsi). Kashyap (ie. from the Caspian) is the progenitor of the Solar race of kings. From the Caspian they swept down into India, driving the preceding peoples before them. Ikshvaku established his chiefdom at Ayodhya, while his grandson Mithi conquered Mithila (named after him). Parasurama continued the 5th Aryan invasion, exterminating various aboriginal races.
* Ramaite Aryan Invasion & Dravidian Holocaust (600 BC) :
The 6th Aryan invasion of the deep South (Dravidia) by the armies of `Lord' Ram led to the fall of the Rakshasa (Dravidian) empire & the destruction of the splendid city of Ravana. The apartheid varna system was imposed, with those black Dravidian Sudras who accepted Aryan enslavement were relegated to the `Clean Sudra' caste , and those who fought the Aryans were relegated to the `Untouchable Sudra' castes (`panchama') of Dalits and Adivasis. The worship of the Aryan religion of Vaishnavism was introduced, and most Dravidians in Lanka exterminated. |

Total 18 Akshouhinis = 1417,72,71,240
is too big a number. That may not be accurate number. the other one which is 1.7 million sounds more believable and 1.7 million itself is a very big number. |

I would say its impossible logistically.. with somany rathams, horses and also all the people themselves to be there to fight is pretty impossible as it used to be face to face fight. they need to have atleast the size of india china border size battle field.

In Dwapara Yuga, human beings lived upto 400 years. There are four stages in life - Balya, Youvana, Koumara and Vriddhapyam. In Dwaparyug, Balya stage was upto 40 years, Youvana stage upto 120 years, and later Koumara and Vriddhapyam stages. But now in the Kaliyuga, Balya stage is upto 15 years, Youvana upto 45 years, Koumara upto 60 years and Vriddhapyam beyond 60 years.

a million and half (1.1 million for kouravas and half a million for pandavas is more realistic and believable.) and those numbers(17 lakhs) it self are very amazing. |

Another version
Once, both Vishnu and Brahma approached Siva and requested to find his beginning and end. Vishnu was appointed the end, and Brahma the beginning. Each took their journey, and neither could find their appointed destination. Vishnu, satisfied, came up to Siva and bowed down to him as a swarupa of Brahman. Brahma did not give up so easily. As he was going up, he saw a kaitha flower, dear to Siva. His ego forced him to ask the flower to bear false witness of Brahma's finding Siva's beginning. When Brahma told his tale, Siva, the all-knowing, was angered by the former's ego. Siva thus cursed him that no being in the three worlds will worship him.

Brahma devudiki gudi enduku kattaru??
one explaination..
When Brahma was creating the universe, he made a female deity known as Shatarupa (one with a hundred beautiful forms). Brahma was immediately infatuated. Shatarupa moved in various directions to avoid the gaze of Brahma. But wherever she went, Brahma developed a head. Thus, Brahma developed five heads, one on each side and one above the others. In order to control Brahma, Shiva cut off the top head. Also, Shiva felt that Shatarupa was Brahma's daughter, being created by him. Therefore, Shiva determined, it was wrong for Brahma to become obsessed with her. He directed that there be no proper worship in India for the "unholy" Brahma. Thus, only Vishnu and Shiva continue to be worshipped, while Brahma is almost totally ignored. Ever since the incident, Brahma has been reciting the four Vedas in his attempt at repentance. |

I have that picture too. It was during 98-99, that they spread this rumour of Hanuman's original picture taken by some tourist in Himalayas[manasasarovar] area. These pictures were sold out like hot cakes. Anyways, I don't believe it. How can some one take a picture of supernatural being? Also, there were some stories that the guy who took the pictuer hails from Guntur, and that he got blind soon after taking the snap etc etc. |

Was going thru some article yesterday andulo Ramayanam...bharatham gurinchi edo topic vachindi.. andulo links follow avutu Anjaneya Swami gurinchi chadiva.. andulo inko link follow ayyi.. Veda vyasudi gurinchi.. vishnu moorthi gurinchi.. ila follow ayyi.. oka 2 hrs spend chesa.. bhale interesting ga undi..
