Movies: Jagapathi Babu's helping hand in Tollywood
Jagapathi Babu is said to be playing peacemaker in the recent Warangal video piracy controversy. Mahesh Babu who found himself in a sorry mess after his fans attacked a video shop, has been trying desperately to avoid arrest in the case. He sought the support of other stars at the Producers Council meeting because an arrest would damage his image. The Warangal SP Srinivas Reddy is said to be a tough cookie who does not wilt under any kind of political or official pressure. It was at this juncture that Jagapathi Babu stepped forward to help saying the Warangal SP was a close friend of his. Accompanied by D Suresh Babu, president of the Producers Council, Jagapathi Babu went and spoke to Srinivas Reddy
