i rated movies both with centers as well as with collections
vasantam ran in 58centers and still got profits
sivamani and nenunnanu which are relased with equal prints that vasantam has less number of 100days centers not even 50
and also both sivamani and nenunnanu had very poor
opening due to extencive publicty they able to recover the money
if all these three movies were released with less prints (like manmadudu,santosham) vasantam would have been equal to manmadudu and santosham and
neunnanu and sivamani would have been run below 10 centers
and coming to nbk films u may argue that lns was released with 300prints so it should have more centers
i think today 200 prints is the standard for making a film superhit ,beyond that any more prints just no use they are only for making fake records
so what ever be the prints with wich lns released
only 200prints out of those have fetched for the film remaining 100 are just for the sake of first 1week
so lns is superhit since it crossed target 50centers and ran 100days in 77 direct centers
even if lns it would have released with less prints(like manmadudu) it would have been range of manmadudu and santosham
so i say
manmadudu,santosham,ln,vasantam superhit
nenunnanu,sivamani,malliswari hit |

only nbk never rate movie according center wise always measure the movie in terms of coellections and profits, vasamtam is avg grosser at boxoofice where as nenunnanu and shivamni has colleted 16+crores and 20+ crores respectivley.

whether it ran 100days in 1 center or not
its a disaster in all major towns
kani goppintialldu ran around 70 to 84 days in hyd,guntur,vij etc
and 100days in khammam and on this it got back its investment
so its a hit
i considered those films as hits which ran 100days in direct centers and commercially hit
neunnanu,sivamani,aazad are only hit range
aazad superhit avvali ante it would have run
100days in around 20+ centers
sivamani,neunnanu suerhit avvali ante they would have run more than 50centers for 100days
vasantam is a superhit it ran 100days in 58 direct centers |
