u are correct.
Failure of GS damaged PK more than Johnny.
Everyone felt Johnny failed as it is sick movie. When GS was comming they thought mass+comedy thiruguledhu anuikunnaru.
Kaani looks like PK lost the magic touch he had in the days of Thammudu, Badri & Kushi.
or else he wouldnt have done the bluder of replacing Prakashraj with Ashish Vidyardhi. Talent vunna vaadu trouble creator ayyina jagartha gaa pani cheyinchukovaali. thats the reason for Dutt's columbus and Rathnam's Bangaram. PKL interference ani movie seyatam manakunda jagartha gaa cheyinchukochu ani they went ahead.
But PK kicked out Prakashraj and got ashish only to screw the product |

GS damaged Pawan's career a lot, more than Johnny.
Johnny Appudu Offbeat movie theesaalle, andukane fail ayindi ani andaroo anukunnaaru. He completely failed as a director. But pawan's hero image was intact.
Kaani GS lo full fledged mass ani, full comedy ani, anni mass masala petti 10 months work chesi kooda movie flop ayindante, idi pawan ijjath ke sawal. GS tharvaatha fans ke pawan abilities mida doubt vasthundi.

Youth & 50% Pawan Fans can enjoy the movie.
Families may not dare to come to the moving seeing those costumes
may run 50 days in Pawan's Strong Fan Base Areas & 4-5weeks in other areas
Overall - an Average - below Average movie
but may become flop as Shankar Dada's release is around the corner

Success makes People Headstrong & no-one is exception
after delivering continuous hits & adding Flavour to his movies with his Style & Action,after Kushi ,he should have thought that Direction is very easy.....& made a Big Blunder - Johnny
everyone knows that he is the one who has directed GS.i feel that he is unneccessarily spoiling his career Directing movies.
after Johnny,he should have acted in Aarya when Raju & Sukumar approached him.Aarya used become a Blockbuster if Pawan acted in it.one more Mistake,by rejecting the movie!
else,he should have given a chance for good or successful directors to direct GS instead of keeping a "Bakara's Name" & directing himself
it will be good for Pawan if he realizes atleast now that Directing is not as easy as he thinks...
hope that Pawan works with Good Directors, by giving them sugesstions & adding his Style's & Action to make his Next Ventures Big Hits
