Dalapthi cinema is definitely isnpired from Mahabharath. no doubt about it.
Rajni 's role is like Karna and Mamuthy is Duryodhana. They showed the freindship. Srividhy is obviosly Kunthi and Aravind swamy is kind o Arjuna.
Roja kind of similar to Sathi Savithri ne. evvaru kadhannaru baasu.

I can give examples of 5 or 6 remake films of Chiru which flopped. Can u give 2 or 3 remake or inspired pilms of PK that failed. All inspired PK pilm were hits.

Suswagatham - tamil remake Hit

Badri - Inspired from Cruel Intentions and Mavvichiguru Hit

Blue Streak is a DAMN funny movie. No doubt about that. The way Martin Pretends that he is a cop and he educates (with his weird/funny behavious) a newly joined real cop is just too funny! The sequences are just too good.
If it is a remake, it will be a good movie for PK. No doubt about that.

Yup. Pattukondi Choodham came before Blue Streak. Either Hollywood people copies our Pattukondi Choodham or there were similar movies in the past too. |

either way that was a damn funny movie by martin lawrence and i have dvd also. if that is made again in telugu that would be great hit.

Acoording to reliable sources Pawankalyan's Gudumbashankar is inspired from the Martin Lauren's Hollywood flick 'Blue streak'. The film was also remade in Hindi as Chor Machaye Shor with Bobby deol as hero. In both the films the thief who hides the diamond in a building comes back to retrieve it, he sees a police station; he acts a policeman to take that diamond. The next part of the film runs on comic lines. The film has been postponed to September 9th as we said earlier.
It was also made in Telugu as Pattukondi Choodham with Suresh and Brahmanandam directed by Money fame Siva Nageswara Rao. SUresh and Brahamam steal some diamonds and they hide in open land. after that they get arrested by police and by the time they comeback they see a house built and that house is owned by Jayasudha. these two join as workers in Jayasudha house to get their money back |
