Yesteryears leading lady ROJA has resigned herself to fate and returned to the film industry. She had developed political ambitions and contested the assembly elections, hoping to make it big in the legislature, a la JAYALALITHA. Alas, her dream turned out to be short-lived and leave alone winning the seat, her deposit was forfeited because she failed to get enough number of votes. Dejected, she has taken up character roles in a couple of Tamil and Malayalam films and here’s hoping that her audience doesn’t treat her the way her voters did. The last noticeable role she did in telugu was that of Srikanth’s wife in ‘Kshemanga Velli Laabhamga Randi’.
