DCP holds meet on Chiru flick
Tuesday September 19 2006 12:33 IST
VIJAYAWADA: With Chiru-starrer Stalin set to hit the silver screen on Wednesday, the district administration has gone into a tizzy and began an exercise aimed at maintaining order at film theatres screening the film.

Deputy Commissioner of Police UVS Raju on Monday convened a meeting of the managements of the 15 theatres that would show the movie and asked them to provide facilities for advance booking for three days beginning from the day of release.

He also cautioned against encouraging the sale of tickets in the black market and said cases would be registered against the managements. He said bundobust would be provided on payment of user charges.

The theatre owners agreed to open advance booking from 9.30 am. Revenue Divisional Officer Ch Bhanuprasad was present.
