I think it will be the "cross-over" mama. Hope that Athadu is not going to be a hinderance to the trasnsition. It is a movie that can maybe wait for after Sainyam.

i agree with J2ee i think Mahesh should experiment. i dont mind. in my opinion he should do 3 films per year. he can experiment with one film but he should make sure the other 2 will be entertainment value films like okkadu. otherwise mahesh will become like jr. look what happened to him. he got an early breaks. but now even a movie like samba which had good first week collections has settled as average.
it is necessary for mahesh to try new things so that people dont get bored.

Mamalu here are few expectations from me on Mahi and Arjun.
I want arjun to be a very intense movie with a a good entertainment mama. Any how based on songs entertainment mathram baane undi anukunte in terms of music. But cinema entertainment lo padi intensity thagga koodadu mama. Konnic pics choosthe matram aa intensity undi anukuntunaa.
If this is the story based on what NAGFANS said then aa pics batti choosthe manodu kummesinattu unaadu mava. And more over oke mata trailer lo expression choosthunte ee cinema tho malli inko saari performance lo best in the field ani prove avuthadi. Asalu aa kalla thone intensity ne project cheyadam is mind blowing. Ika actions sequence will never before kind mathram gurantee anipisthondi.
Ika mahi ninchi nenu expect chesedi i want him to be like amithab who is a legend for whole indian film industry just with his acting skills not with dances. Cos mana chiru thappa hey cinema field lo kooda number 1 actor dances tho raleedu so i hope mahi also shouldnt be bothering about dances. Daaniki dancers unaaru mama. Mahi should continue his way of doing films with little bit of experiments and giving the max performance in any role he do. Hope he alteast do 1 experiment after 2 to 3 block busters and do do routine kinda of movies.
The reson why iam his fan is he is best in performance and always try to be novel instead of giving us the same stale stuff unlike others.

like i said earlier now a days it is difficult to tell the status of a film from insider reports. everything depends upon the mood of fans now a days.
my belief is that mahesh fans were very upset with NANI and so they will be looking for a more traditional telugu movie that presents Mahesh in a powerful role. i believe ARJUN will do this and so i have high hopes on the film whatever the insider reports say.

yaa if this movie also flops then it will really damage mahesh's career and i wonder if he will even have career if this movie flops.
if what Gmurthy said is correct that means that the general audiences will like the film. now in order for the film the become a mega hit the fans will have to be impressed by the film. for this to happen the fans will have to like the characterization of Mahesh. for example, murari was a good film and it was a hit. however, the fans didnt like the soft image the krisha vamsi projected mahesh in so it did not become a mega hit. OKKADU was a well taken film and the general audiences liked but in addition the fans were also happy with the powerful image the guna projected mahesh in so it became a mega hit. now it seems from what gmurthy said that ARJUN will be like by the general audience. and it also seems that guna projected mahesh in a very powerful image which will be attractive to the fans. therefore if this powerful image clicks along with good direction, action, songs and fights the movie will succeed.

let's wait and see. andhrawala mama. first of all i have stopped believing insider reports. second of all even if you believe what gmurthy said he has said nothing bad about the film. he has given only positives. remember OKKADU had a very thin story line. in fact the entire story of OKKADU can be said in one sentence. "Saving Bhoomika from Prakash raj." but guna's excellent taking, mahi's excellent acting, and good action sequences projected the movie into blockbuster status. If ARJUN has a more complete story line, even if it has sentiment, with guna's excellent taking, mahi's excellent action, good taking of songs,and good action sequences i believe the movie can be a mega hit.
So i have no worries.

Here some Insider Info For ARJUN. According to Trade Circle this is the Avg to Above Avg Move Because of Ladies sentiment film. My opinion is if the sentiment is work out well then move may become Super Hit like Murari. For compensate this sentiment the put lot of action episodes and good thing is they really come out well. This is defiantly Not a Flop move.
50% of Move is around temple. The story that came in DB is almost correct. Even with out 20 crores budget any one can complete this Move. Some people in the unit intentionally bring this film to this much budget. With out preparing full fledge script they stated shooting. This is one of the causes to increase the Budget hugely.
If the move budget is not that much this move also one of the profit venture in Mahesh career. Here question mark is how a sentiment move collect this much amount that too facing lot of competition with existing film and forthcoming films. Because of this reason trade wise also this film not get expected encouragement from exhibitors.
And one more thing, this is not at all a flop film. For Naani my insider info got failed but this time I wont fail. I checked with my sources many times.
