The following are the first six places occupied by telugu films between july 13 and july 20.
1) Pokiri....84 days...bumper hit.....still has eighty per cent collections. Watch for Mahesh's performance and Puri's screenplay. Vulgarity and violence is bit too much.
2) Ashok...8 days...below average....good openings and from the fifth day collections have dropped. Watch for NTR and music and avoid it as there is no entertainment.
3) Vikramarkudu...28 days....above average...no drop in collections and the jinthaka mannerism is a hit. Story and screenplay is routine.
4) Godavari.....63 days...success....the film dropped after 50 day run in many centres. Pleasant love story and slow narration.
5) Superman Returns....7 days...okay.....good response for the telugu version. Kids liking it but it lacks the charm of the old version.
6) Pandem Kodi.....63......average.....dropped after 50 days.....plus is screenplay and Meera Jasmine performance. Music is a let down |
