Mahesh Babu Emerges as Next Mega Star
Cute looks, handsome smile, sumptuous personality, fair complexion, seducing chemistry, chocolate features and rugged look at times. All sterling aspects unite to describe Prince Mahesh. Women folks these days make Mahesh a handsome icon on par with Nagarjuna.
Looking at the flip side, his image in masses is growing gigantic.
I tempted to watch the film 'Pokiri' a couple of days ago, hearing the hit talk. But that wasn't a normal go-watch for me although the film completed 40 days of its run. I was shocked to see the crowd and the arrogant board saying 'Houseful'.
It would be the panorama on the first day of its release. But how can that stamping crowd create commotion after weeks! Without stepping out, I requested the theater authorities to get two places in the theater.
After a well-mannered request with references, we could somehow watch the movie resting on 'special chairs'!
What a crowd! The yells, shouts and whistles of fans looking at the celluloid image of Mahesh, echoed in the theatre dominating the Dolby-DTS effects. The background score of the movie is frenzied with high volume and there was no other way other than getting adapted as an element in the 'power house'. The movie was well knitted, well groomed and well taken.
It appeared to me that Mahesh Babu is gaining mass following and that added a lot with 'Pokiri'. Subtle dialogues and sharp accomplishment made him the darling of mass hearts. A little rough look with scruffy hair and shadowed beard made him a crush for women folks. "Will he be the next Mega Star?" The question did hit my mind.
Gaining mass following with subtlety, well-chosen scripts, uniqueness in performance and humbleness at the wining point were the factors those made Chiranjeevi the Mega Star. Mahesh Babu appears to be in the same path. The only factor he needs to add to his 'play list' is to be more mass appealing in delivering the dialogues. Undeniably, that matters with the tempo of the film.
Blending the factors of restrained and handsome Nagarjuna and mass-appealing rugged Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu appears to be the next Mega Star if the successes continue successively.
