Mallika turns down item song with Chiru
Everything that actress Mallika Sherawat does attracts attention. According to the latest rumour, the actress was approached for an item song for the Chiranjeevi starrer Stalin, directed by A. Murugudoss. Industry sources reveal that the director was very keen on signing the glamour doll and had even approached her.
When contacted one of the managers for actor Chiranjeevi says, “Yes, it is true that we contacted Mallika for the item song. But she refused the same on the grounds that she only wants to do full-fledged roles.” He further said that actress Charmme may be finally signed for the song.
Mallika’s secretary, Kaleem Khan says, “She is definitely not interested in doing item numbers. And as for signing a lead role, I’m not sure whether Mallika wants to do a Tollywood film at this stage of her career. At present Mallika is in the US for the Rockstars Concert so we will know for a fact only after her return.”
However Charmme’s manager Srinivas denied that she is doing an item number in Chiranjeevi’s film. “It’s not true and nobody has contacted me in this regard,” he says.
