For the first time, Megastar Chiranjeevi lends his voice for another character other than his. He has decided to dub the voice of Lord Hanuman’s character for the Telugu version of animation film, Hanuman. This will be the first time that Chiranjeevi, or for that matter any other major Telugu star’s voice will be used for an animated character.
Hanuman is the first full-length animated film produced in India. The Hindi version was a huge success. Now it is dubbed into Telugu by producer Challa Manmohan.
Sharat Marar, a close associate of Chiranjeevi’s family, is now overseeing the dubbing and Telugu production work and hence he has roped in Chiranjeevi to dub the voice for Hanuman. Also, Chiranjeevi is a bhakta of Lord Hanuman, so he is said to have readily agreed for this proposition.
Superstars lending their voice to animated characters is very common in Hollywood. Recently, even Bollywood mega hero Shah Rukh Khan had dubbed the voice for The Incredibles.
