The state that TK is in right now has state tax. Meeku teliyadu ani kaadu for the reference of others. Seven states have no state income tax: Florida,South Dakota, Texas, Washington.
Alaska, Nevada and Wyyoming lo tak lekapoyina pani chesi janalu kooda vundaru  . I remeber reading somehwere that New Hamsphire and som other state has state tax for only incomeearned through shares and bank interests.

I know in the state where youy lived previouslu, there is no state in come tax. But what about the state you are currently living in? Didn't you have income in that state during last year?

If I am not worng- Medicare is a mandatory deduction which cannot be bypassed. I dont think you will get any of it back - even if you have an outside insurance. Same with Social Security.
You would be able to get pack a part of Fed and State( if you pay State Tax) while filing your returns - if you have itemized deductions.
Keep in mind that you should file taxes even if you do not get naything back -
