Santosham Awards termed “silly”
CMR Santosham awards is not taken seriously by the film industry. The Telugu Magazine conducted the awards function on its second anniversary; and the awards went to Nagarjuna (best producer), Suryakiran (Best Director), Sumanth (Best Hero), Chakri (Best Music Director) and Rajesh (Best Comedian) – All these awards for “Satyam” movie. While many bigwigs in the industry do not know about the awards at all, a few directors and artistes felt the awards function is silly and has no gist.

Suresh Kondeti being magazine owner and film distributor looks like did a balancing act to satisfy all the heroes and groups in the industry.
Lekapothe old people lo Best Hero Chiranjeevi(Tagore) and Best youth performers Mahesh (Okkadu),NTR (Simhadri),Sumanth (Satyam) anta. Best Heroine just Ashin maathrame(ANOTA). Why there is no seperate section in heroines.
Best Debut heros lo - Allu Arjun (Gangotri) and Vishnu (Vishnu) .
Inka surprising Best remake producer. Also we have est Debut Producer(Raju for Dil) and Best Producer Nagarjuna for Satyam.
Best Remake Hero, Best remake director, Best remake heroine etc rewards are missing.
Best still journalist Kumaraswamy (Eenadu & Sitara) icheru. What about Best Website, Best Web site journalist and Best DB.
