Mukesh Rushi is a big landlord and Panchayati President in one of the village in KonaSeema area.
He helps poor people and his servants(paalerus) by giving some % of his yearly crop profits.
He tries to develop the village for getting schools,roads,water tanks etc.
Andhrapradesh govt. recognizes his efforts and decides to short-list to give an award for him to encourage more landlords in AP.
In this process, they decides to get the intelligence report also.
Meanwhile Villains opposite group of Mukesh in the same village who tries to get hold Pachayati President seat, lodges few complaints aganist Mukesh to bring him down and also to defame mukesh.
PawalKalyan is a journalist by profession in one of the upcoming newspaper, though his interest is towards Sports,Metro LifeStyles, his manager always sends him to villages to get news from Rhytu,lands and its rates etc, which is not interesting to PK.
In the first falf, there are few comedy scenes between PK and Dharmavarapu his manager.
His Manager promises him that he would definitely put him Sports,LifeStyles department, if he accomplishes the a detailed report about ins and outs of mukesh and his eligibility towards the award, and also to check the truth behind the complaints , a journalist investigation parallel to intelligence.
PK gets close to Mukesh and hides his identity, and starts investigation.
In this process, he gets close to MeeraChopra, daughter of Mukesh, but MeeraChopra gets engaged to Raaja,
In the second half u will see many comedy scens between PK and Raaja and how PK teases Meera and Raaja together.
Finally PK comes out of a detailed report, and brings evidences from the persons who lodges false complaints aganist him.
