Review of this film

Sriram, who has been an action hero and romantic hero till now, has ventured into a different kind of role. He has mixed comedy in his acting, playing a jovial kind of guy. By this, he has tried to improve his popularity, saleability, attract more fans, and thus gain the attention of the masses. This film has given Sriramthe opportunity to bring out his varied talents and acting skills.
Sriram, a lower middle class person with little culture, works in a printing press. He goes to Ooty, where he meets Aarthi Agarwal. He falls in love with her and comes to know that her marriage is already arranged to Vikramadithya, who is not of good character. Aarthi, with the help of Sriram, manages to expose him and thus the marriage between Aarthi and Vikramaditya is called off.
Later, Sriram returns to Chennai. Vikramaditya plans to take revenge on him. Whether Vikramaditya succeeds in his plans and whether Aarthi reciprocates Sriram’s love makes up the rest of the movie.
Sriram has done a really good job be it action, comedy or romance. Vadivelu has sprinkled comedy in the film appropriately and adequately. For Aarthi, this is her first Tamil movie, though she has earlier worked in Telugu movies. She has done a good job. Namitha delivers a glamorous performance and Vikramadithya has done a neat job too.
Srikanth Deva’s songs have added an additional impact to the film. Overall, Pathy Baskhar has gone in for a nice film.
