First let me introduce myself..I am Ajay Chintala. I was brought up
in Rajahmundry and educated upto Intermediate in there. B.Tech
graduate from Baptla engineering college and M.Tech from
NITIE,Mumbai. Currently located in Dallas, TX.
I have always been wanted to associate myself with such groups which
helps to provide primary education for deprived children, I strongly
feel this is an opportunity for me. Hats off to all for your
initiatives.

Pushkaralu Project
For July 2003 Pusharalu for river Godavari, we have teamed up with local Mahila Lions Club for milk distribution to visitors to the city. Actual details of how the project went off will be posted as soon as details are available.

Local contact person for this project was Rama Murthy Chavali who has been interacting with Grandhi Vasanta Lakshmi Kumari, President of Lions Club Rajahmundry Mahila.
Contributions made:
June 2003: A total contribution of $1000 has been made by the group to this above project.
Contributors: Sekhar Madhunapantula, Ajay Chintala, Prasad Chavali, Kishore Chavali , Raghavendra Paturi and Ratnam Chitturi
Gurukulam Project
Gurukulam Brochure: This brochure gives details of the Veda Pathasala that is being run by a trust in Rajahmundry.
Contributions made:
April 2002: A total contribution of $500 has been made by the group to this above project.
Covering letter sent with the contribution to the trust is given here.
Contributors: Sekhar Madhunapantula, Ajay Chintala, Prasad Chavali, Kishore Chavali and Madhukar Veluri.
Payment method: Payment has been sent through online service Rapid Remit and since this is the first transaction using the service there was no service fee collected.
This is the first project taken up by the group. This will set the momentum for future projects and hope the group will continue to work together towards its objectives of serving mother land. |
