Ya.. u r right. See the hemanth post. The client asked him to get the file using sftp. I believe it is already set up in the server.
Nevermind, its better to check whether ssh process in running in the server. If so Hemanth can use the client to get the file out from the remote unix/ linux server |

dravid mama thats for the client..but seems like hemanth is talking like on the server side..until the server is set with ssh, even thou u use putty's software for transfer it doesn't make much sense..
hemanth doing the following command on server you should get the result followed then you can say your server has been setup to ssh with port 22 listening
grep -i 22 /etc/services
ssh 22/tcp # SSH Remote Login Protocol
ssh 22/udp # SSH Remote Login Protocol

Download PsFTP.exe and try to connect to your unix/ linux server and use command get unixfile localfile. |
