This weekend i had been to my brothers place.
He owns a liquor store and on saturday (29th) night i had to take care of the store.
Then a police officer came into the store along with a customer and asked me to stop all sales.
the following is the conversation between us.
i asked him - is there any problem OFFICER.
Yes there is he replied , did you sell LIQUOR to this Gentleman.
Yes i did.
well then i have to give you and your store a Ticket each.
Could i know the Reason Officer?
Thats for Disrepecting the Law.
What law are you talking about OFFICER , and may i know how i disrespted it.
You have sold this gentleman Liqour well past 2' O clock.
Its not 2' O clock yet Officer.
He shows his watch and says it is.
I understood what had happened and told him that the Clock had to be adjusted an hour back so its not 2' O clock yet. i showed him the RECIEPT of the sale also.
The cop shaking his head , man its been a long day , sorry for the trouble and left.
So thats how i got an extra hour for making money. |
