Khushboo has become the victim of not only the anger of the culture vultures, but also of the guardian of justice!
After Khushboo made her comments on virginity/or lack of it, 234 districts in Tamilnadu have been filing case after case against her. A social worker (?) named Kamakshi filed a case against her in Thiruvannamalai, and the court had summoned Khushboo's presence on 13th but she did not turn up. She then got another summons to turn up on 20th (yesterday). The judge instructed a police woman to hand it over in person and this was accepted and signed by Khushboo's husband Sundar C.
After this, it was expected that Khushboo would appear in person, but that did not happen. Her lawyers filed a counter petition that Khushboo was busy in shooting. When a hot debate was exchanged between the 2 lawyers, the judge instructed that Khushboo appear in court at least once. He has postponed the hearing to November 14 with the warning that if Khushboo did not turn up in court, there would be an arrest warrant issued against her.
So, Khushboo may turn up in court on November 14th! |
