Mahesh Babu's recent film Athadu made it very big at the boxoffice. His stylish Athadu set the Tollywood boxoffice on fire. His next film will go to sets from 15th of October. Puri Jagannath will direct this film. Manjula will produce this film in association with Vaishno Academy banner. The production will continue in a continuous schedule and will release for next summer. Pokiri is the title in consideration. This title is already registered.
Ayesha Takia is confirmed as the heroine in this film. Interestingly, Puri Jagannath's recent venture Super also had Ayesha playing the lady lead. Mahesh will play 'Pokiri' role and the director assures a different Mahesh in the film including his getup.
Manisharma will compose music for this film. This is the first time Puri Jagannath is working with Mani Sharma. But Manisharma's music is not new to Mahesh. Infact it always proved successful for Mahesh. Murari, Okkadu and Athadu are composed by Manisharma. |
