These 2points r enough for u not to enjoy ATHADU as we all did..becoz someone who is neutral might see the movie with a critics point of view..
some one who is a fan other hero..watches it with a cynical point of view( it applies to everyone and in this case it applies to u )
So, I dont see anything wrong in ATHADU being a avg movie..for u
If u want to talk about Trisha..she might not be a fit for Prince but she was not let down as u r saying.. to name few scenes which Trisha excelled:
1. Lying to Mahi about opening the door and her hair pin..
2. When she falls down walking..when mahi watches TV..
No one can do better than her..

If thats the case then i have to say that u havent either watched the movie or slept in the theatre..becoz..
If u forget the title song ATHADU..then we dont have discuss anymore...the best song solo song for any hero of all time..

The surprisie element is with u...becoz the verdict everyone has given is with a true heart and shows their feel for the movie..may be u have to check it out again or watch it with out thinking that ur a fan some actor..

If u can credit the success of Nuvve Kavali, NNN, Manmadhudu and last but not least ATHADU to Trivikram then he is the man with the magic touch and success..

Now and then anybody delivers a dud. Have you seen the movies he made with Amitab, Ajay Devgan, Sunil Shetty, Sanjay Dutt,Tabu? Watch those films and have an opinion. He is definitely the best director in India right now. He has directed all kinds of films. None of the present tollywood directors match his skills.
Viruddh is only one of the good movies in his direction. There is no director in tollywood which has that skill in portraying the emotions like him. |

Has anyone seen Viruddh, Amitab and Sharmila Tagoor's movie. In my opinion, Mahesh Manjrekar is the best director in India. Mahesh Majrekar may not be successful like Chopra's, Johar's. But in my opinion he is hundred times better than all those people. Every one of his movie is of different concept and he does very good job.
Most of the best directors in Bollywood now are from Maharashtra. Ashutosh Gowarikar, Madhur Bhandarkar,Mahesh Manjrekar to name few. |

Sorry to say this. For me, Athadu is an average movie. It is my sincere opinion.Though I am not a fan of Mahesh, I like him most after NBK. In my opinion, they should have gone for fresh face instead of Trisha. Most of her scenes look pretty artificial to me.Except the last two songs, all the other songs are below average. There is no emotion in the movie. What surprises me is, the kind of run it is having. Undoubtedly, Mahesh is #1 in US market. |
