>>>btw, nuvvu try chesava mama?

Tunts, I bought it as a gift(june 2005) and I just used it for a day. But I don't think it is worth the price ! ($450 + tax).I would prefer A95 over this just for the price

You would get a 7-8 megapixel camera for that price.

hi babu mama :-)

soon.

manishi mama:

1. It is based of old model S1(ala A95 from A75 which IMHO are the best from cannon) and bigger and bulkier than S1

2. I hate a camera that still uses AA batteries. You need to buy NiMH batteries once again.

3. lens cap isn't that great.

4. Stingy on the SD memory card (Just 16 MB)

This one is a semi SLR kind of camera with 10x optical zoom and image stabilization and other manual features that help us (learning guys) a lot. So still thinking to go with this even though bulky. Another option is Nikon 8400

AA batteries is good now a days since NiMh or Li Ion batteries custom for each camera will be extra headache since we are not sure using this camera in long term and buying extra battery pack is waste of money. :-) And in emergencies u can buy them in any corner.

Lens cap: lots of reviews mentioned this one.

SD card: we are not bothered about it. :-)

btw, nuvvu try chesava mama?
