Mahesh is relaxing in the sweet success chorus of his latest film Athadu. This film is acclaimed critically and commercially. Going by the run, the film is poised to cross the collections of his industry hit Okkadu. Athadu is the first film after 'Prince' Mahesh is married to Namrata.
Directed by Trivikram, Athadu has everything a hit film needed to have. Megastar Chiranjeevi complimented Mahesh and the unit of Athadu for delivering such a technically competent film. In a recent interview Mahesh responded to the compliment by thanking Chiru and commented that Chiru is one of the stars who genuinely encourages talent. Mahesh also revealed that he got a bouquet from Chiranjeevi and a letter congratulating him on the film. "You showed the might of the Telugu film", is his remark after watching Athadu.
Mahesh's upcoming films
Meanwhile, Mahesh has a pipeline of films. His next film in the direction of Puri Jagannath to be produced by Manjula will start regular shooting in September. Followed by it is Gunasekhar's directoral venture for Aswini Dutt. Next year, his brother Ramesh babu is planning a film in the direction of K.Vijaya Bhaskar. MS Raju's Sainyam will start next year. Also, VV Vinayak will direct a film, which might also start next year. Durga Arts confirmed a project with Mahesh. Hemambaradhara Rao will direct Durga Arts film. |
