Mangal Pandey lo first half was all over the place. Chaala issues tackle cheddaamani choosaadu. Individual gaa konni scenes baaunnaaa entire picture lo ekkado lopam vacchindi. And there are some extremely unnecessary songs. Second half of the movie is short and nice. First half anthaa comments vesina memu, second half occheppatiki silent aipoyi choosaamu.
Overall avg movie.
And there is a lot of emotion without any of the over emotion or over acting done in a lot of movies. |

Mangal Pandey if not for aamir would have been another normal movie.. Its aamir who is carryin the movie at BO..
Divided talk is only in interiors esp in UP..Other wise the movie is steady in urban arad |

ee emotion logic naaku ardham aichaavadu..
english movies lo many times the actors don't really show out emotions...I understand they don't like melodrama...overt exhibition of emotion....thery name it as subtle...
we (many of us) too say itz brillaint..amazing piece of acting...blah..blah..
Indian movie daggaraki vachesariki maathram complain chestham... (someone said Morgan Freeman was too good in Million Dollar Baby...but I just found it good..nothing to rave about)

Except for visuals, Mangal Pandey is nowhere when we compare with Alluriseetharamaraju. Even Amir Khan's action is nothing great. Infact in scenes like in the climax when he is taken for hanging, there is no ferocity in his face or walk. No proper dialogues in the movie. Music is worst. |
