i think raju is working for PARADIGM Inc. sometimes as a HR/off mgr/etc. They brought him from India. He has a good rapport with consultants there. |

Yesterday when I went to a barber shop, I saw VenkataPathy Raju. I was so happy to see him. I was like a kid asking everything that I could in the short time that I had - about his career, Indian cricket team etc.
He was so humble, very down-to-earth. I got his phone no. and thinking of inviting him to our house.
He plays in the Washington Cricket League (the same league that I started to play this year) for the team "PARADIM, Inc." and I play for "Potomac". Who knows, I might face him in one of the upcoming schedules.
I was so happy, though because he was a lucky charm to Indian cricket team and whenever Azhar was playing, he was included in the team. He played with some of the legends in Indian cricket history.
He hails from Bheemavaram, he did his schooling in Gannavaram and ended up playing for Wesley School, HYD. He got into Andhra Bank immediately after Intermediate (as he was already selected for some cricket team - under 20 or something). He has 2 kids.
He comes to work every day BUT does NOT do anything because it is a pride to have him in the company. He plays cricket over the weekend. That's all. The CEO of Paradigm is his best friend. Some of his best friends in telugu cinema are Subhalekha Sudhakar and SaiKumar.
He said that the team is doing a bad thing by shuffling VVS Lakshman up and down the roaster. He is a classic batsman.
He didn't make huge money as he did after 1996. Before that it was a matter of pride and career than money.
My wife was saying that my face was glowing like a 2000 watt bulb when talking to him like a little child who was just given a lollypop/candy. |
