1) "Athadu" has story line somewhat similar to that of superstar's superduper sensational mass hit "kirayi kotigadu" but with novel presentation and variety screen-play
2) Mahesh plays the role of an orphan turned serial-killer
3) Prince will be seen in a sophisticated-urbane look in the inital parts of the film and as a village boy in later parts
4) Mahesh character will have all kinds of shades that attracts youth, ladies, girls, families, children etc..
5) Trisha plays her typical lunga-voni type village belly character
6) Prakash raj is acting as a CBI officer
7) Nazar, whose role resembles to that of nirmalamma's in "kirayi kotigadu" adopts mahesh as his grand-son in the second half
8) One-time No.1 villian in south "Charan raj" is making his re-entry into telugu after a long time. Rahul-Dev who made his debut with "takkari donga" is again acting with prince in this film.
Bollywood actor Sonu-Sood is playing one more key-role in the movie.
9) Hema is going to enthrall the audience with her scintillating comedy by uttering trivikram's dialogues in her melodious voice
10) The movie will have marvellous action episodes that are never seen before on indian screen
11) Mani shrama has composed excellent six tunes for this film. The audio is going to be an all time hit in the entire career of mani.
12) "Athadu" has all the ingredients that appeals to the masses as well as classes.
13) The film will be an eye-feast to the fans
