NBK was introduced as solo hero on outside banners in a low profile.
He started movies with 2 small banners (Sahasame Jeevitham and Discoking), both of them didn't have a good run at box office. Out of those 2 movies, one movie started early, but the other one got released earlier.
He got his first break through Mangamma Gari Manavadu, then followed by Kathanayakudu and he didn't look back. After NBK settled as hero, then only their home productions made movies with NBK..
NBK was not launched on their home banner or through a top banner on grand scale like many heroes like Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Ramesh, PK, Mahesh etc, he was introduced on a very low profile. May be NTR is very busy with politics at that time since he is new to politics (Starting a own party, becoming CM etc) and he didn't care much about launching NBK as solo hero.
Only after NBK settled as hero, their home productions made movie with NBK. |

NTR's 3 sons and one daughter acted in movies..
Hari Krishna acted as child artist in Krishnavatharam around 1962 and later Thalla? Pellama?
again he acted in Ram Raheem around 1976..
Mohana Krishna and Balakrishna acted in a song in Bhale Thammudu
Bhuvaneswari acted as child artist in Manusollo Devudu around 1973 |

Anasoyyama gaari Alludu is the biggest hit from RK studios banner in which they made movies with NBK. Ran near5ly silver jublee in Hyderabad.
Think after loosing money in movies like Brahmarshi Viswamithra, Samrat Asoka and Srinatha they went really slow.

NBK entered the film Industry at the age of 14 through his home production tatammakala, in which he had the opportuinty to work with the two legends of Tollywood, Late Sri NTR and Dr. Bhanumati Ramakrishna. For 10 successive years he acted off and on in movies mostly produced under his home production. 1984 is the year when his first movie as a solo hero was released and interestingly he acted in very less number of movies made under his home productions after that.
