Do you know the actress Radha? Those who ask, whether she is 'Alaigal Oivadhillai' Radha, would not have seen the film 'Sundara Travels'. The heroine of that film also is Radha. She had also acted in the film 'Game'.
Though she didn't have any films to act, she is the 'sensational' actress in kollywood now. The reason is, her allegations of sexual harassments against many cine filed personalities. She had also leveled charges against the producer of 'Sundara Travels', Thangaraj.
"The agreed amount for acting in 'Sundara Travels' was Rs. 50,000/-. But even in this amount they had withheld Rs. 20,000/-. At one point of time, my father got angry and said "unless they give the rest of the money, I would not continue to act in that film". Then only I got the rest of the amount.
But having this incident in his mind, the producer didn't put my original name in the title but of my character's name was shown as my name. But after this film, Radha could not get chances to act in any other films. So she had surrendered to Thangaraj and met him to ask for chance to act in films. From this point, you can read her out statement about what happened.
"When I went and met him to ask for chance to act in films, he said if you give cooperation to me? on hearing this I had hesitated, then he said, "unless you give your 'dharshan' to me, camera lights will not fall on you" and laughed.
But when asked about this, Thangaraj became very angry. "This is an atrocious allegation. "Will anybody produce a film spending two crores just to have sex with an actress? Radha do not have any chance to act in films. Should she stoop to this low level to get attention? She herself had said that she is living with an actor ? director. Is "she a family lady" fumes Thangaraj. |
