Story and dialogue writer turned Trivikram Srinivas, the director of Mahesh's forthcoming movie Athadu, is confident about the success of Athadu. Notorious for his oneliners, this young director, in a freewheeling interview to a film weekly, said that Athadu will have all the plus points of films like Nuvvee Kaavali, Okkadu etc. Interestingly, these comments can be juxtaposed with those made by M.S.Raju before the release of his Okkadu. The leading producer told the scribes that Okkadu will have the romantic elements of Kushi and the action episodes of Narasimha Naidu in perfect proportion. Though only 20 percent of the shooting is completed, we ask the fans of other heros(in a lighter vien) to beware of the ides of March as Athadu is geared up for a March release.

Snippets about ATHADU
The Talkie part of Athadu will be completed in this schedule.Manisharma's 6 tunes for the Movie
have been finalized. One song has already been picturized in the sets at Padmalaya by Vaibhavi
Marchant Brinda is going to compose the Montage bits. Action sequences have already been
completed and they are in the editing stage. The Film also has a huge starcast that includes
Kota, Thanikella Bharani, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Dharmavarapu Subhramanyam, Giribabu, Jayaprakash
Reddy, Nazar, Sony Sood, Sudha and many more. Most of the movie goes on a Village backdrop, so a
set was built in Nanakramguda that resembles a Zamindar's House in a Village. Some Major scenes
between Mahesh, Trisha and other starcast have been shot at this House.

Athadu - Padmalaya roundup: The last schedule for Athadu started on January 13th and ended on
20th at ICRISAT in the outskirts of hyderabad.Scenes with mahesh,tanikalla bharani,nazar and
other artists were canned here.The next schedule will be from 27th of this month.This schedule
will take place at the house set constructed for this movie at Nanakramguda.Trisha will be
joining the cast in this schedule.The makers intend to complete significant portion of the talkie
part in this month long schedule and then shift base to some foreign locales to can three of the
five songs remaining there.
New Choreographer for Athadu :: A new Choreographer would be composing steps for Sensational Star
Mahesh Babu's Athadu. Navani Bhavchandh, who worked as choreographer for several Hindi and Tamil
movies like Gilli, would be making his debut in Telugu movies with Athadu.
Athadu audio to rock Andhra Pradesh :: Ace music director Mani Sharma is supremely confident
about the success range of his forthcoming movies Athadu (and Balu ABCDEF). In an interview with
Chitranjali, a leading film weekly, this soft-spoken genius commented that Athadu will surely end
up as one of his finest compositions
till date. Mani Sharma, who has composed music to all the movies of Mahesh except Yuvaraju,
Nijam and Naani also added that Trivikram is a tough customer to deal with and his zeal for
perfection made him to work extra hard for Athadu.

Athadu in Naanakramguda :: The unit of Mahesh Babu's Athadu recently moved to Naanakramguda in
Hyderabad to can a song on Trisha and her family members in the film. A special set was
constructed by Jayabheri productions exclusively for this song. Prince Mahesh Babu will not be
appearing in this song.

Mahesh Babu's film in the direction of Trivikram is titled as 'Athadu'. Shooting of this film was
started on 10th June 2004 at Araku Valley.
The next schedule would start on 16th July. D Kishore is producing this film on Jayabheri
Entertainments banner.
Mani Sharma provides music. Thota Tharani is the art director. Sirivennela pens lyrics. KV Guhan
provides photography. Trivikram is providing story, screenplay, dialogues and direction. M Murali

Trivikram-Mahesh film starts today - 2nd June 2004
Trivikram's second directorial venture with Mahesh Babu and Trisha in the main leads went to
floors today. The first schedule would take place for 9 days. Speaking to idlebrain.com
immediately after the release Malliswari, Trivikram said that his film with Mahesh Babu is a mass
film. But the mass episodes would be dealt with realistic touch. This film is being produced on
Jayabheri banner by Kishore and Murali Mohan.

While you are a mass hero with a commercially big image, Trivikram is a writer who dealt with
soft stories. What does your combination imply?
The moment one hears the title Athadu one should understand the kind of film it is. This is an
excellent ?mass? title. The film, too, is the same. Athadu is an out and out mass commercial
entertainer. Kishore of Jayabheri is shaping up this film very lavishly.
In fact, how did Trivikram get to impress you?
Having heard a powerful mass subject like Athadu from Trivikram was one factor while his
extraordinary sense of dialog was another. He narrated the subject to me over four hours. I never
lost interest even for a second through the four hours. If only what he told me could be brought
on screen in toto, it?s enough for the film to become a sensational hit. What could be better
than that to make a film?
